# Can't get vara fm to work with my FT60

i’ve tried reading all of the posts here about connecting to FT60s, but my problem seems to be that while it does key to transmit, nothing is being sent. I have checked all sound settings, but there is nothing coming thru on the monitoring radio, it just keys the mike. Has anyone had a similar situation and found a solution? Steve S

When I am troubleshooting, I always reseat all of my cable connections. Could you post screenshots of your sound settings?

Yigal, K2EFG gave me the solution. You have to plug the elbow end of the cable to the radio and the straight end to the Digirig. As soon as i switched that, everything worked perfectly. Is that something that applies to any Digirig cable that has an elbow end? Many thanks for checking back! 73, KJ7MRQ
