# IC-706 unable to TX with JS8Call

I am a newish ham, I have an IC-706 on an CHA Emcom III portable and the digirig mobile. I purchased from website with cables in the ci-v configuration. I can decode and receive in js8call but no luck with TX or CAT control. Any help is appreciated.

Let’s start with PTT. You can temporarily disable CAT control by setting rig to “none”.
