# Lab599 TX-500 nothing on waterfall

Hello All, I have used WSJT-X for many years and now trying to configure my TX-500 with the DigiRig and supplied cables. I have RIT control, and can transmit but cannot see anything in the waterfall or in the activity window. I suspect it’s my audio settings but everything looks good. Any suggestions to look into? Thanks in advance

i’ll jump in,

since you’re familiar with wsjt-x, it’s likely you’ve already double checked the audio tab a dozen times as well as the ‘audio control panel sliders’ for your OS

i’m not familar with the tx-500 so forgive my question;  
does it have a menu item to enable/disable an external audio output?
