USing Xeigu G90 and the Digirig With HRD and WSJT

I’ve used HRD for years with Yeasu 991A. I recently downsized and decided it was time to pass that radio on to someone who would make more use of it than i was. So I am in the process of learning the ins and outs of my G90. I set up the Digirig and HRD provided guidance how to connect it up using the Xeigu interfaces but decided to give the Digirig a shot and to my surprice using the ICOM 7000 settings as they suggested it came right up. I can change cefrtain functions tune etc. So I figured the next move was to try and make use of WSJT. There is where I’ve run into a problem I can work out. WSJT says the CAT function is working but when I set a frequency in WSJT it doesn’t move. During the setup I could see it was handling PTT just fine.

Has anyone successfully used HRD with this combination?

it has been ages since i used HRD.
even then it was the last freeware version.
i’ll try to help but i’m way out of date

i looked at my old wsjt-x radio settings tab and i had:
Rig: Ham Radio Deluxe
PTT: CAT

that was with HRD properly controlling the radio.

i no longer run anything between the rig and wsjt-x for control now.

log4om v2 ‘listens’ for qso/completion, for my logging needs.
