Did you have to file the hole? Another reason I had it in that vertical orientation was to help make sure the hole came out nicely.

Bill, it was a snug fit but went in without much effort. No need to file the hole or use any supports on my Prusa MK3S+.
Hello group,
I have the DigiRig Lite working great in WoAD using a Samsung S9 tablet and a Icom ID52 using Packet. I really like the fact that the unit is so small, but wondering with all of the new devices, USB-A is not the native connector anymore. I relize that the board would be very delicate if it inly had a USB-C connector SMD solered to the PCB. Any ideas how to keep this package as small as possible and lose the USB-A? I have seen the prototype enclosure from Denis and I like it with the pig-tails, just wondering everyone elseās thoughts?

Dave,
I agree with you about the prototype with the usb-c cable. I use my Samsung A32/WoAD and the Digirig Mobile with the usb-c to usb-c short cable that Denis sells. Five below has an adapter that would work if you are looking for a small package for the Digirig Lite.

Let me know if there is interest in naked PCB without enclosure/cabling at reduced price.
Howdy all -
Very interested in this thread - Iāve been following since KF7Rās original post (January).
He has given me a great deal of information and ideas on getting set up to chase this particular birdā¦ Thank you, Fernando!
So, to clarify, he is now able to use the Digirig āLiteā to generate PTT for the rig without splitting a COM port; but he is still using the original Digirig at the same time to route CAT frequency changes to the radio - Is that correct? Thanks for the clarification.

Iām trying to get setup to work the IO-117 bird as well but using my IC-706Mk2G. Presently, the Digirig can use either SatPC32 or Soundmodem, but not both. The serial cable plugs into the CI-V port. Even if I had the newer Digirig Lite, it doesnāt have CAT. And Iām not sure how I would plug it into the radio. With what I have, the āblue wiringā would be the only way to make it work. For now it looks like virtual ports are the way to share the COM port. Maybe a new model with a switch ? GPIO vs RTS ?

Whatās the tiny USB dongle for?
ā¦ ah - is it a USB A to C converter, but with the custom digirig logo on it?
