Is there any reason this would not work with an IC-7300? Other than an adapter to connect it, it looks like it will work great for POTA and an Icom 7300

I realize the spec says to use the shield of the coax leadline as counterpoise. Is it also possible to attach a counterpoise to someplace inside the reel and choke the coax leadline? 73 Constrainted
