I was always curious about science and got my novice license before Sputnik. That was 1956 or so ( KN0HIW). I am finding digital modes interesting. Much of my life has been devoted to family and working in industry often along side other hams who see RF as a profession. I was AMSAT contact in Oregon for some years until around 1982.
