Now retired, I trained as a Radio Technician with the NZ Post Office and gained my amatuer radio licence in about 1970. Later I joined a TV Rental company and became their R&D Manager working with computers, EFT-POS, Videotext, Early mobile radio and in the last few years before retiring, with the introduction of Freeview digital TV to NZ. After over 20 years away from amateur radio I’m back investigating all the advances in Ham technology and communications
