Howdy Yall…I am having issues getting my DigiRig,857d and LDG YT-100 tuner to all play nice together. Computer is showing all the DigiRig ports and such but my pass through on the Tuner dont seem to be doin its thing. I think I have all my Radio settings correct. When I have it all plugged in,the tuner flashes red and I have no control on any of the Digital programs,JS8call,Flrig and such. any advice would be great…K8ROY
I don’t have this kit, but will try to advice on general troubleshooting. Before connecting the tuner, do you have everything working to your satisfaction with Digirig connected directly to the transceiver?
So, I’m testing a YT-100 with my FT-857D radio. I used a Digirig and have connected the radio connector on the YT-100 to the 857D cat jack. I then plugged the Serial cable from the DigiRig into the computer Port on the YT-100. I don’t have any control of the radio from the computer. I opened FLDigi and cannot see any frequency. ??? The Audio works, but it’s direct from the radio to the Digirig. I setup at CT-64 cable and things seem to work.??
Did you have luck with rig control without the amp involved?
look at the baud rate. the YT-100 requires a 4800 I believe.
So I disconnected and reconnected as shown above, crossed my fingers, and it is working.
