Alinco DR-138 from DX-70

Being new to the hobby I’ve been gifted an alinco dr-138 that has no 9600 port sadly, and I don’t see an adapter that works on here, I was looking at the dx-70 cable but the pinouts I’m seeing from the manual look like they are a bit off so that cable won’t work. I’ve included a screen of the pinout to save searching their manual.

but if I were to buy the dx-70 cable I’m assuming with the audio in the 3.5 trs socket, how hard would it be to modify the pinout to work with my 138 until I decide to crack it open and solder in a 9600 port, which my ai is saying is still on the board, just not populated so maybe that will be the easier path.

i believe this cable will work without modification:

Kenwood, Alinco GX16 Mic Cable for Digirig – digirig

gx16 with rx audio from trs

(drop down selection for RX from trs instead of mic plug (probably what the pinout on the store page is showing))
