I’ve just finished setting up my Digirig with my FT450D (although I don’t believe this to be a radio issue) on my Raspberry PI 4 running Debian (Bookworm). I am able to control the radio via CAT without issues using FLRIG.
When I open FLDIGI (4.1.23) I am unable to transmit anything. The console is full of these messages:
Expression 'parameters->channelCount <= maxChans' failed in 'src/hostapi/alsa/pa_linux_alsa.c', line: 1514
Expression 'ValidateParameters( inputParameters, hostApi, StreamDirection_In )' failed in 'src/hostapi/alsa/pa_linux_alsa.c', line: 1838
I tried the asound.conf changes found here to no avail. I also should mention that I am able to see signals on the waterfall so I can confidently say that getting audio INTO the Digirig is working.
