Has anyone tried using JS8CALL on android to a TRUSDX radio?
If you have it working, what are your settings?
For contex, I am decoding messages just fine. But nothing I try seems to key the radio for transmit

Not on Android, but with Windows 10 or 11 OS. On both those operating systems, with JS8CALL v2.2.0, truSDX rev i and x, I have logged JS8CALL, back in 2023-24. I have two profiles. One (tries) to do PTT over CAT, where the port is COM6, with details below:
Radio: Kenwood-ts480
Rig options:
PTT: CAT Com6
Mode: USB
Split: None
PTT Control
Serial Port: COM6
Rate: 115200 8-1-None
DTR high RTS low
The other does the simpler PTT over RTS, COM4. I’m not sure which profile was more successful.
I have no idea how Android assigns and names serial ports, but I suppose they are linux-like. Maybe something like /dev/ttyS0 /dev/usb/tty0 etc.
Usually, posters who are successful here share their troubleshooting method. What have you tried? You are probably closer than you think.
