Anytone 878 UVII Plus with Digirig Lite - No Signal with Sound Card Auto Tune

I have an Anytone UVII Plus along with a Digirig Lite module and a Digirig cable for Baofeng and Kenwood HTs (also works for Anytone 878).

Computer is running Windows 11.
Winlink Express is version 1.7.28.0
Vara FM was v4.3.9 and was replaced with v4.4.0

I set up everything using info found online and was able to send a Vara FM Winlink message at the beginning of the month (was using v4.3.9 at the time). I was happy.

Then I tried setting up my Icom 2730a using cable RJ-45 and could not get things working. I updated to Vara FM 4.4.0 when I tried to set up the Icom.

After failing with the Icom, I went back to the Anytone and it would no longer work.

Winlink connects to Vara FM.

In Vara FM, settings, I have tried using RA-Board and Vox. I don’t remember what I used originally when everything worked. I have also tried using the COM option but I get a response that the COM port is in use by another program.

Squelch is turned off.

Volume on the radio is set so that the VU meter is in the -9 to -10dB range.

When I run the Auto Tune option in the Sound Card settings, all 10 tones sound the same and at the end of the test I get a No Signal report.

The computer’s speaker and microphone are set as the defaults.

The speaker volume setting has been varied from 40% to 100%.

AGC is turned off.

One time yesterday, I did get the NACK box on Vara FM to light up. I don’t get that anymore.

I did go back to the previous version of Vara FM and nothing worked. Changed back to the latest version.

I’ve been working on this for multiple hours over multiple days and am pretty frustrated at this point.

Hopefully I haven’t missed something simple.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Raffi

Problem solved. Ended up being an issue with the receive site and the latest Vara update.
