Audio drive to the G90

I have a DigiRig mobile I am trying to get to work with Xiegu G90. I can receive but no transmit. I think the problem is the drive level is to low from my laptop. Is there a way to increase the audio other than the settings in the pnp codec to increase the out put?

Thanks Dave NU4N

when you say no transmit, do you mean the g90 does not ‘PTT’, or do you mean it does ‘ptt’ but there is no audio heard over the air?

is the g90 in U-D mode ?

what level do you have in the g90 menu for line input ?

good luck

Yes the G90 will not key up the radio. I am using the mic in and speaker out. Line is no problem but not enough drive to key the radio. I have the speaker out as far as it will go at moment. Thanks Dave

ahh, i thought you might be using the digirig cables for the g90 style radios that use the rear acc jack and the CI-V jack.

i’ve not tried using VOX via mic/spk as the digirig mobile uses either RTS or CI-V/CAT command for PTT activation.

i use a digirig mobile w/logic level config using the digirig g90 cable set with my g90 and x5105.

CI-V is my PTT method on both those radios.

sorry i couldn’t be of help

Dave,

Can you please describe the cables that you use between the Digirig and your G90? You mentioned using mic and speaker which would be unusual way to interface G90.
