I’m wanting to use my UV5R or any other HT with that plug configuration, I’ve tried a lot of combinations; but cannot get it to work.
Is there any how-to for my specific combination… thanks!

Let’s narrow down the scope of the problem. While following the getting started tutorial, at what point your results differed from what is described. There are areas such:
- detecting the USB components
- getting audio from radio to computer
- keying up the radio
- getting audio from computer to radio

All four of your questions have been solved.
OK… I have it sort of working… All my ports are configured and I’m sending and receiving.
BUT
It won’t connect. I’m sending packets and I’m receiving packets; but direwolf doesn’t make the connection. I’m using UIVIEW as my terminal program.
Never mind. UIVIEW was the problem. Another terminal program solved my issues.
