HI al, I’ve been using the digirig with a baofeng for a while without issue. Recently it would intermittently quit txing and now it has completely quit. After trying everything I could think of I tried holding in the audio cable plug while tuning and it started to tx. I tried a different radio with the same results. As long as I hold in the plug it seems to work,
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a DVM, analog multimeter or continuity tester?
Test continuity on the cable between the Baofeng plugs to the TRRS plug.
If that is OK, then open the Digirig and check the TRRS receiver on the pcb board for continuity or cold solder joints.
Thanks Constrainted, I’ll have my multimeter back this weekend and try that. I did do the checks on the plugs/cable as suggested on the digirig youtube channel, I did have to put pressure on the radio plug but otherwise all checked ok.
I don’t know if this helps but I was able to run hf on my G-90 earlier with no issues. would that indicate the digirig is OK.

I suspect a bad jack in the radio.
