Looking for help setting up the BF-F8HP-PRO, Winlink Express, Soundmodem Packet, Digirig Mobile and Windows 10.
I have the Digirig Mobile Cables Kit and the Digirig USB A to USB C cable.
Any help would be appreciated.
As far as radio goes, the settings are:
- turn off squelch
- adjust output volume starting from low value
- set mic gain (if available) halfway
There are numerous tutorials for winlink and soundmodem. Look them up and post here if you still have any questions
Thanks. I have read the Digirig Lite Setup Manual and it is the clearest of anything Digirig has done. Is it okay to use it as a guide for setting up the Digirig Mobile? As a second question, would you recommend the Lite for Winlink and Soundmodem?

Thank you for your feedback. Glad to hear you liked the manual. This is the latest of all Digirig interfaces and the manual benefits from years of experience helping operators with the setup for digital modes.
As far as Digirig Mobile goes, there is a separate manual. It’s a bit older, but still pretty sold:
I do recommend Digirig Lite for any scenario where serial CAT control is not supported or not required including Winlink/Soundmodem software combo. Digirig Mobile with a CAT capable radio would be beneficial in case of Winlink/VaraHF.
