Cable for Tait T-2000, T-2000/II

Based on the above pinout, the audio cable for Digirig looks like this:
(similar layout to this cable, but different connections)

RJ-12 pin 3 (Mic PTT) → 3.5mm TRRS ring 2 (RIG_PTT)
RJ-12 pin 4 (Mic Audio) → 3.5mm TRRS ring 1 (RIG_AFIN)
RJ-12 pin 5 (Gnd) → 3.5mm TRRS sleeve (GND)

3.5mm TRS tip (SPK) → 3.5 TRS tip (RIG_AFOUT)

For the optional serial data connection:

RJ-12 pin 2 (TX Data) → 3.5mm TRRS ring 1 (RIG_TXD)
RJ-12 pin 5 (Gnd) → 3.5mm TRRS sleeve (GND)
RJ-12 pin 6 (RX Data) → 3.5mm TRRS tip (RIG_RXD)

There is no TRS SPK at the radio, can RJ-12 pin 2 (Tx Data (out of radio) be use?

or from the Power Connector:

Thank you for the clarification.

TX Data is a serial line used for controlling radio’s features from mic’s keypad.
The audio will have to be picked up from the power connector in the back.
