Based on the rear panel we’ll need a standard MiniDin6 cable (1200 baud) and DB9 serial cable. Both are available in TS-480 kit .
There is no separate pin for 9600 baud output on MiniDin6 :
The serial port looks like the same pinout as in Kenwood (pin 2 is RIG_TXD):
For CAT control Digirig will have to be in RS-232 configuration.

Awesome just what i was looking for
I just want to confirm that the cables for the Kenwood TS-480 are still the appropriate cables for the Yaesu FT-950 and that there are no specific cables for the FT-950.
Correct?
I’m only asking because this post is 3 years old.

Yes, TS-480 kit offers complete integration of FT-950, so it remains the optimal choice for this transceiver.
