I have the Digirig Mobile I bought for another Radio. Never used it. Can I use the Digirig Mobile, providing I get the cables right to see my waterfall on a small laptop and maybe even use HDSDR to control the G90?

You can use your Digirig for CAT control of your G90 and it can also be used for waterfall within the bandwidth of a single audio channel (3K). Your G90 has I/Q port which can be used for wider bandwidth waterfall, but Digirig is not wired for this type of connection (dual input channels are required).
