I have been using my digirig mobile with my IC706MKIIG and my laptop. To date I had only been using it for CWGet as I have been trying to figure out other apps with it, but it was working fine. I took it off the computer to use another USB device, and when I put it back, the laptop no longer sees it. I tried it on two different laptops with two different operating systems and neither sees it when it’s plugged in. Any diagnostic tips or does it sound like it has gone bad?
Try a different data-capable USB device using the same USB cable in the same USB port.
The USB cable that came with the digirig functions properly in the same USB port with another device.
Thank you for the info. You mentioned the COM port is not detected, what about Digirig’s sound card component? Please check the device manager under Audio inputs and outputs.
Negative, not showing in the device manager either.
