Dedicated Digirig mobile for the Lab599 TX500MP?

Hello.

I am waiting for my Lab599 TX500MP to come in, and am preparing whatever I need for my digital modes setup once it arrives.

Questions:

Is the current Digirig Mobile available compatible with this radio, or will I have to modify it?

Is there a dedicated Digirig Mobile for the TX500 MP as in the FT-891?

For some back ground:

I plan to start learning digital modes using Fldigi and then evolve from there.

I need some direction here.

I already have set up, and worked with my HT’s, Analog VHF-UHF Manpacks; and my android tablets loaded with Andflmsg connecting it all with my Digirig Lites and they are running like a top. Function tests are frequent and successful.

So I’m ready to evolve and to learn this new chapter,

Any information would be appreciated.

As the TX500MP has some unique requirements for CAT, you will need to order the Digirig mobile and cables specifically for the MP. As for the FT-891, you’ll have to order another Digirig mobile and cable for it. Everything is well documented in the Digirig Store.

So the Digirig labeled TX500 is also for the MP?

Yes, but you have to select the option from the drop-down box for the cable, and select TX500 for the Digirig Mobile.

Just wanted to make sure that the TX 500 configured Digirig had the same setup as the TX 500MP Digirig.

I see they are one and the same.
