Digirig Branded USB Cable Question

I have been using the USB A to USB C Cable from Digirig to connect my laptop to my radio. It has worked great. However, I find I need a much longer cable for my installation. Is there anything special other than quality of this cable? If I needed a longer one, what would I replace it with. I would add ferrite beads to it.
