DIGIRIG DR-891 as CAT-Connector for N1MM+ Logger?

Hi,
it’s my intention to use my DR-891 as connector between my notebook and the FT-891 only for logging purposes, like synchronizing band changes and operation modes.
Is this possible?

Yes, all normal uses of CAT control are available through Digirig

Thank you! After some experimenting it works fine, but currently it’s not possible to use the CW macros from the N1MM logger to keying the FT891. The PTT switches correctly, but there is no CW keying.
An AI tool says I have to connect the “Keyer port” of the Digirig with the Key slot in the FT891, but the Digirig doesn’t have a separate keyer port.
My expectation was, that there would be any kind of CW keying via the CAT connection.

Ok … Problem solved!
It was an issue to decide if the keying goes over RTS or DTR.
Setting RTS on CW on N1MM logger leads to correct CW function.
