Hello, I received the Digirig DR-891 today. I connected it to both my Mac and PC, but only the sound card is recognised; the COM ports are not visible. If I connect the FT-891’s USB port directly to the PC or Mac, it works perfectly. How can I resolve this? It’s a shame because I’ve lost all the convenience of the Digirig Dr-891.

The other time this happened; there was an issue with one of the leads of the red socket lifting from the PCB pad. If you don’t mind a taking a look inside, this could be a quick fix that saves your Digirig a trip back to Colorado.
Thank you for answering me I bought it from one of your dealers in France, I redid the soldering on the board, but it doesn’t work, when I turn on The computer I see that goes Connection between the digirig with the transceiver you can hear the relays.
The relays clacking can be caused by audio sent to the right audio channel of the soundcard tripping VOX PTT. If you continue having difficulties, feel free to reach out via the support form on the website and request service for your Digirig.
