DigiRig Lite and/or regular DigiRig not working on a MacBook Pro with Sonoma OS

I recently installed Mac OS Sonoma on my MacBook Pro and ever since I have not been able to get my handheld to transmit or receive when using Fldigi. Prior to the OS upgrade (Sequoia) everything worked perfectly. Has anyone had similar experience and if so, how did you fix the problem?

I have managed to get the transmit side of things working, but I cannot receive in one mode. Using Fldigi in FSQ 6 Mode, everything works fine both transmit and receive. When using MFSK 128 Mode I can transmit using Flmsg, but not receive anything. I have gone through settings where I am trying literally everything. So far I have not had any success. I do not use my MacBook for WSJT-X. I use it mainly for transmitting when it is attached to my Kenwood TH-D74 in a mobile application.
Suggestions anyone?

fldigi does the sending and receiving of audio signals. Settings in fldigi can also cause flmsg to automatically open on the receipt of messages with templates in flmsg. In order to receive and decode MFSK128 you must be aligned with the incoming signal. There are guide lines on the waterfall’s cursor. Can you hear the incoming MFSK128 signal?

I think if you are transmitting directly with flmsg, you are using ARQ. Depending on propagations conditions for FM simplex, some modes will work, others will not. Have you tried dropping down from the demanding MFSK128 to the more forgiving THOR22?
