DigiRig Lite ICOM 2100 No inbound signal

I changed my connector from my Yaesu FT-500D to my ICOM 2100. The DigiRig and USB did not move.

I can PTT outbound, but inbound nothing is heard.

I’ve tried jiggling or not fully clicking the male plug into the female (which worked on the FTM-500 plug) to no avail.

Any ideas???

the IC-2100 uses the 3.5mm speaker jack right?
the volume knob on the radio needs to be probably around 40% i’m guessing.

good luck

Ok, I’ll try that..

BTW, it uses the same plug as the microphone.

I tried volume setting from Zero (which is what I have my FTM-500D set at) to 100% volume.

I still does not send any audio to my computer.

Thanks

The correct cable for IC-2100 is ICOM RJ-45:

If this is the cable you already use then please check the continuity against the schematic published in the product page.

Hi Denis,

Not to be obtuse, but without instructions and based on the other cable for my FTM-500d, I put the single 3.5 to the Digirig, the RJ45 to the Mic and tried the other 3.5 attached to that RJ-45 to the speaker.

My radio stayed in a PTT mode and would not stop.

Your diagram unfortunately is lost on me (and I’d say large number of other Hams who are not EE’s).

Where did I go astray…
