I recently setup my new Digirig Lite with my Yaesu FT-65R and ran into an odd issue: If the HT volume or computer mic or speaker volume settings are too high, the Digirig begins to rapidly flash the PTT light (triggering rapid alternating transmissions on the HT). Backing the volumes down seems to resolve the issue.
From testing yesterday, I found that keeping the HT at ~25%, the computer speaker level at ~25% and the mic level at ~50% seemed to be the sweet spot, and I was able to TX/RX on APRS using Direwolf.
Is this behavior expected? It almost seems as if a feedback loop occurs if any of the volume settings are too high. Wasn’t sure if anyone else has experienced this, or if there may be an issue with my equipment.
