Red light just flashes rather than staying solid using Echolink even with mic setting at 100%. I have connected to Icom 2730. When I transmit on handheld voice very clear on IPhone. Yet whether using space bar or IPhone for PTT/Transmit, the Echolink app at bottom shows good levels but red light flickers on sound card and there is not enough audio signal to trip Icom 2730.
Echolink is a voice application. Digirig’s VOX is optimized for digital modes - very fast response. This causes it to drop PTT on the short pauses between the words. If available, consider using radio’s VOX or an explicit PTT method (GPIO3/RA.Board) supported in the interface.
