I already use a DigiRig Lite with my iPad and laptop and love it. Thinking of buying a (tr)uSDX. Will I be able to use my DigiRig Lite for Winlink and FT8 and if so, how? I don’t mind manually changing frequencies.
this says a separate interface is no longer needed with the truSDX
good luck

Hello again. On the trusdx, the digirig is only used for audio. CAT control is managed with a separate micro USB cable.
The usb-only interface that webmonkey posted about has a lot of problems. Some people can get it to work, but many cannot. Using a digirig provides a much cleaner and louder audio to the transceiver as well, when the output is listened to.
Good luck!
Hey Drew thanks for the response. Starting to think you might be stalking me
So I have the Digi Rig Lite, not the regular one, and was wondering if I buy the proper audio cables will it work with the (tr)uSDX? Im less concerned with CAT control if thats just changing frequencies.
Not for nothing, but my adult son lost his hearing about 4 years ago. Your short using ASL was a nice touch
Drew is one of the best members of this community, and now we know he uses ASL as part of his communication!
FWIW, I use the Digirig mobile (not your version) with truSDX for Vara HF and NBEMS without CAT control. It is important to get truSDX Ref Freq set correctly.
