Digirig Lite, Yaesu HT Cable and Yaesu FT-70D

I have a project that I’m working on that connects the following:
Digirig-Lite (Digirig Lite – digirig)
Yaesu HT Cable (Yaesu HT Audio/PTT Cable – digirig)
Yaesu FT-70D
Linux

I’m wondering if anyone has connected these devices and gotten the audio in to work correctly. I’m hearing the audio on the speaker of the HT and don’t seem to be getting any audio coming back when people are talking or data is beings sent through the digirig. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly helpful.

  1. Have you used this configuration?
  2. Did you get audio over the HT speaker and through digirig?
  3. What OS were you using?

I was able to find and correct my issue, still wish though that there was a way to turn off the onboard speaker when the cable was plugged in, perhaps that would be another cable to purchase though. Since I can’t turn down the audio and have the rest of the system work.

Thanks to any that may have been trying to gather any information to assist. I’ll be posting a how to soon on the project that I just finished.
