Using Digirig with Baofeng 82UV handheld radio. Everything is fine going into radio. Signal is transmitting (confirmed with 2nd radio) but unable to connect to RMS. Auto Tune Test fails. All setting on Baofeng set to published “How To” values for using Winlink. The Winlink Vara FM computer program does work when connected to the Anytone D-578 UV III Plus mobile radio but will not receive signal on the Baofeng. Suggestions??
my ‘goto’ checks are:
squelch off
volume 1/2 to 2/3
STE off ( i can’t remember if the uv82 has this on by default like the uv-5r)
