Yes WoAD is Winlink on Android Device. I am not getting an error, just constant unconnected…I think it is because I am not getting the digipeater but not sure.
Same here, except that RTS is apparently stuck in the enabled state causing my rig to transmit constantly. Not good.
Mike, the issue you described sounds like RFI related. See “sticky PTT” section in the troubleshooting guide in the reference section of the website.

K0TX, do you mean this: Troubleshooting Digital Modes – digirig ? There is a sticky transmissions section. But I’m using an HT so really only point 4 applies (use ferrites). And I’m using a digirig cable with ferrites at both ends. When I use the DigiRig Mobile with a PC, it works just fine. But with WoAD on my phone, I see this issue. Oops, I just realized one other difference. When I used the PC successfully, I was holding the HT in my hand. In the cases that failed with WoAD, I left the HT on the desk. Now it all makes sense. The HT needs my body as a counterpoise. Otherwise, bad things happen.

Consider remoting the antenna with a roll-up J-pole or a quarter wave ground plane antenna, if you want to avoid holding the HT. Maybe a counterpoise, too, but I have not tried that.

Additionally to ferrites on the cables, probably the most effective option would be to add a counterpoise to your antenna.
