The Digirig Mike cable for the KX3 is TRS while the KX3 jack is TRRS.
At first everything was working but yesterday it stopped transmitting.
The KX3 goes to transmit mode but no power output. Receiving with WSJTX and JTDX is fine. I tried connecting the Digirig output to a powered speaker and I get audio when hitting ‘TUNE’. When connecting the microphone to the KX3 and hitting tune I get power output.
Confusing it that it worked for the first week.
Except when I tried the mike I had the BIAS and PTT OFF.
Why is the Digirig provided cable for the KX3 TRS and not TRRS? Did I receive the wrong cable?

Digirig cable connects the sleeve and ring 2 together in the mic socket so the TRS connector is sufficient in this case:
If you suspect the issue with the cable, you can check the continuity against the schematic published in the product page.
