I’ve been using a Digirig with my KX3 for over a year. WSJTx and FLDIGI.
Just got a FT-891 and a DR-891 from a ham on QRZ.
I know I need Yaesu drivers for the CAT but will I need to update the
audio drivers?

no. the same “family” audio chipset is used.

I think the same Silicon Labs chips are used in the FT-891 and the “standard”
Digirig as well..
