Has anyone successfully used the digi mobile with echolink. This thing is about to cause me to make a trip to the Liquor store. Radio is Alinco DR735T, cable is MiniDin6 9600-baud Audio/PTT cable. I have tried every setting possible in EchoLink except vox. I not using vox. If it won’t work without vox it won’t be the first or last I have thrown away. I bought the digi mobile because I had constant issues with the digi lite using vox. Even AI threw in the towel on me and said return it to the vendor.
I use a Digirig Mobile with Echolink software on a Windows computer to provide an Echolink node for the local ARES/RACES repeater. Here are the settings I use on Echolink: (all these are found under the Tools command)
Under System Setup/My Station tab, make sure that Sysop is selected - as far as I know, you can only connect to a rig if you are using either a -L or -R type of setup in Echolink. Under System Setup/Audio, you need to put in the Digirig (USB Audio Device) as both the Input and Output Device. Local Mic and MonitorOut will be your computer microphone and speakers, respectively. Open in Full Duplex should be checked.
Under Sysop Setup/TX Control tab, click the RTS button, then make sure the Serial Port field has the correct COM port listed - it should say Silicon Labs CP210x after the COM port number. If it doesn’t, you have the incorrect COM port selected. If you cannot find Silicon Labs CP210x on your list of COM ports there, you may not have the Silicon Labs driver installed - check your Device Manager in Control Panel to see if there is a COM port pointing to the Silicon Labs driver; if not, disconnect the Digirig from your computer and install/reinstall the Silicon Labs driver, then plug the Digirig back in and check Device Manager again to be certain that it is installed. Note the COM port number and then go back into the Echolink program’s Sysop Setup and choose that COM port in the pull-down list.

I will double check all you said but Im fairly sure I was setup that way. It is a -L sysop setup. I may have missed the full duplex setting.
