Silicon labs dual cp2105 usb to uart bridge standard com port (com5) one has a enhanced port and the other standard. I have replaced the ports numerous times and get the same thing
hi, you’ve shared some information about com ports, which shouldn’t impact sound input, but not audio devices.
also, radio you’re using and the digirig model (dr-mobile, lite, dr-891 etc) / cables.
pc os and digimode program.

I would delete the last Windows update and see if that fixes it, especially if things were working before.

If the audio device has disappeared after an update, i’d look to see if the default sound device and/or sound device assignments have been shuffled or renamed.
since you’re using a digirig mobile, you have a second usb cable run to the radio for the CAT port correct? (as opposed to using a dr-891)
i’d look in the device manager for the USB audio device entry as well looking in sound control panel for the names/assignments of audio devices. changing which usb port you plug the digirig into will change the audio device name “-1,-2” etc
(by the thread title i’m assuming your trouble is with audio in/out and not CAT connectivity)
