Several clubs did a FD type exercise in a city park in Houston. I brought:
1 DR
1 FTM6000
1 $60 Win 10 laptop.
1 1/4 wave 2m antenna
1 pizza pan.
1 12 volt Battery.
Goal:. Hit voice and Winlink gateways on both 2 and .70m.
Success on both.
Ez setup. Was up and running after 15 minutes including setting up table, chair and station.
So easy, George Jetson could do it…maybe not…!
