FT-817 and Digirig Lite v. Digiring Mobile with FT8CN - PTT failure

Using the FT-817 and Digirig Mobile (no serial connection), all well. See self on PSPReporter, etc.

Then with same rig, but Digirig Lite, no TX - no relay click, indicator on rig doesnt go red. PPT indicator on Digirig Lite doesnt go red. RX is fine, hundreds of decodes..

Pigtail from rig to Digirig same both times. It’s the Data cable I bought here with the Digirig Mobile a couple of years ago.

Am baffled, and open to suggestions.

the digirig lite uses GPIO for PTT (also called cm108 or ra-board).
the digirig lite also has an onboard vox circuit for ptt if needed.

the digirig mobile uses serial/comport RTS for ptt.

so the ptt settings in software will need to match.

Thought of that, so was running vox when using the Lite, RTS using Mobile, switching as needed.

Issue resolved to insufficient volume out from tablet. Had to override the cap on volume out via audio control panel. Apparently it’s a common issue w/Samsung
