FT-857 - no com port

I am using digirig mobile and the two digirig cables for FT-8xx.
The audio shows up and works (can see FT8 signals) and it decodes them, but no com ports show up in the device manager so CAT control does not work in any software using CAT control. Thanks. George

In my 857 setup I use Flrig the under wjst I setup it as Flrid Flrig under radio try using that.

Thanks for the suggestion. There is no com port showing up so it won’t connect to any software.

That’s frustrating! Have you installed the driver for the serial port, Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge (COMx)?

Thanks to all your suggestions. Working now.
Two problems. New Surface tablet. New USB hub not working. Drivers not installed. Just tested FT8 :slight_smile:
