Is that correct? I have read the manual back and fourth and I cannot find settings that have to be changed to use the back din connection. I have also tried USB-d. I’m sure I am missing something simple.
The manual says that data modes mute the mic that implies that the signals are picked from the accessory port.
Is Digirig side of the configuration taken care of? You can monitor the incoming audio on the computer’s speakers with “listen” box enabled in Digirig’s recording device:
I’m almost embarrassed to say, but the din cord was not firmly seated in the socket. The problem now is that my ALC is so high it splatters my signal. I cannot figure how to turn it down on this 756PRO, but I’ll keep working at it. When I remove the din plug to radio functions normally. I will watch the video and see if that fixes my issue. Thank you for your response.
It took me a while to catch this the first time, with the Kenwood connector into my HT. Ever since then, I make reseating all physical connections part of my troubleshooting.
