I’ve looked and googled and have been surprised by the very little information available for the IC-718 and FT8 using Digirig. Can someone let me know any critical setting on the 718 for it to work properly with WSJT-X via digirig. For instance: CIV ADD (current settings, SE), CIV BAUD (96), CIV TRN (on) and CIV 731 (of). I was excitedly setting up this morning when I realized the Digirig I was using with G90 won’t properly work for this rig. I already have the correct cables but want to have everything ready to go when the Digirig CI-V arrives.

The transceiver settings for serial CAT control are not interface specific so you can lookup tutorials for your radio that are not specific to Digirig, like this one:

Thank you for quick response! I’ve looked through the threads and saw many WSJT-X screen but nothing about the 718’s setting themselves (other than 9600 baud rate). I found several very simple instructions/settings for the radio and software for both my G90 and IC-7300 and was hoping I was just missing similar instructions for the 718. I’ll definitely keep digging and review the Icom CAT Control Guide link you included. Thanks again!
