“KX3” Digirig to HT?

Given there’s only audio going to/from an HT, can I simply use an HT cable (e.g. Baofeng) with a Digirig configured for a KX3? Would PTT work, or use VOX? I acknowledge that the Chirp cable will likely not work, but that’s fine.

Yes, starting from Digirig 1.6 PTT is on the audio connector and always available regardless of the serial CAT configuration.

Also yes on Chirp cable - that requires logic levels configuration.
