My Microsoft Surface Pro 7 with Windows 11 will not assign a port for my DigiRig. When I plug it in and turn on radio (tried UV-5R and a TH-D75), nothing new shows up under the Com Port section. I do have an item show up in Other Devices, “CP2102N USB to UART Bridge Controller” which I’m pretty sure is the DigiRig, and under properties it says no driver loaded for this device (with the yellow yield symbol). When I search DigiRig for drivers, nothing shows up. This is my third DigiRig, so I’m not new to this, but I have no idea how to remedy this. USB Audio Codecs work fine, at least moving the virtual meter needle. I took the whole assembly to my Windows 11 PC and it all worked fine. I have used this Surface Pro with DigiiRig in the past with an FT-5D, so I’m scratching my head. Any way to fix this? Is there something I can load to update drivers? Thanks! P.S., using this on WinLink Express.
Thats the link listed in the digirig mobile setup guide.
Good luck
