Randy W9HAM reports that MiniDin8 splitter worked for splitting serial port connection of his Yaesu FT-817 (same for FT-818, FT-857, FT-897) between Digirig and MX-P50M amp. 
I am hoping the DIN8 splitter can work on my ICOM M803 to have both the Digirig Mobile and my Pactor modem plugged into the radio ACC port. I had been switching the cables every time I switched from Digirig to Pactor. Of course, I would only use one of the devices at a time.

Can confirm this. I was using the same splitter to work IO-117 Greencube satellite while running a FT-897 (or FT-817) and switching a PA-80U UHF Power Amplifier.

Denis, do you think this splitter will work with the bHi Radio Mate + DigiRig Mobile as well? At long last, I finally found a Radio Mate to use with my FT-817.

It’s a possibility, but there may be conflicts if both devices are trying to talk to the radio at the same time.
I might be okay in this regard. I envision using the keypad to select a VHF/UHF freq for VARA FM ops and the CAT control auto tuning HF freqs as separate operations. As long as I am intentional about not mixing VARAFM and VARAHF ops, I could indeed be fine here.
