Just received 2 of the new KX one piece cables and they do not work. I am using with 1.7 Digirig mobile that works flawlessly with the older pair of cables. A quick continuity check on the serial cable side from the black angle plug to the green straight plug reveals they are wired differently than the older serial cable. Audio cables are not same as the old cables either. Is the 1.7 digirig the problem or are the cables wired wrong?
Yep, the R1/R2 are reversed on Digirig’s side.
I’m recalling this cable and by the popular demand will be replacing it with a shorter version (minus coiled part). Please stay tuned for the updates.
