I recently got a Digirig Mobile. I am trying to use WSJT-X. I am able to receive, but when I go to transmit the radio switches to PTT, but there is no RF. Windows is showing the Digirig outputting audio, but nothing seems to be making it to the G90. I have the G90 in U-D mode and input set to line.
I made my own cable, but I have checked it several times with a multimeter to make sure it lines up with the schematic of the cables listed for sale here.
I’m not sure what the issue could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the suggestion. Plugging in earbuds I get sounds from the digirig. Following the video I looped back the audio-out to the audio-in on the radio end of the cable and I get a constant tone when I click tune in WSJT-X. So it seems like it is something with the radio then. Any thoughts?
in the g90 menu (on the radio itself), you can check the AUX input level
that’s what comes to mind since you’ve verified your g90 is in U-D mode for rear panel jack usage
Set desired audio
‘Aux In Volume’
Press and hold ‘FUNC’ 1. Press ‘V/M’ button several times to display ‘5. Aux In Volume’
2. Rotate Main Tuning knob to select desired Aux In level 0 to 15. Higher is more gain.
3. Press ‘CMP’ to save the value
my g90 is out in the truck atm but i’m sure i have it in the middle of the available range
