Not all USB-C cables are created equal

I purchased a cheap USB-C cable to use with my DigiRig. I could not get to transmit reliably. The rig would key up and than hang. I would have to remove the DigiRig before it would reset. After troubleshooting the problem I found out it was the cheap USB-C cable. I ended up using the cable from my Samsung phone and have not had any problem since.

Yes, shielding of the cables is recommended in RF-reach environments. This is especially important while using digital/packet modes with HTs.
