PTT with KX2 & WinLink Express

WIth KX2 and Winlink Express I am using the same com port (com9) for both PTT and CAT. Works well. However some programs such as HamRadioDelux can not work with the same com port used for both CAT and PTT.

Is there anyway Ring 1 on the KX2 mic can be used for PTT ?

Alternately, can a virtual com port be set up to “mirror” com9 to a different COM# , so as not to confuse HRD ?

Digirig is using PTT on ring of Mic connector when you set PTT to RTS signal of the serial port. Alternative option is PTT by CAT command.
