Will the Boefang/Kenwood set work for programming as well as digital modes?

Got a positive confirmation that Digirig and Baofeng cables work with QRZ-1 Explorer. This is the HT that at the time of this posting is still available for free to the newly licensed ham radio operators as a result of collaboration between QRZ and GigaParts.com.
